Kya

Kya Newton is a valued member of the Spotlight Instructional Team. As a Co-Director of our National Honor Society for Dance Arts chapter, she exemplifies leadership and dedication, mentoring younger students with kindness and enthusiasm. Kya brings a wealth of experience to her teaching, having served as Miss Adonica's Student Teacher during the 2023-2024 season. She currently co-teaches several Little Charmers programs and Acro classes; she also instructs all of Friday classes at our Corning location. A talented performer, Kya was honored as The Spotlight Dancer of the Year in 2023. She thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoying the camaraderie and excitement of performing with her fellow dancers. Kya currently attends Southwestern Community College, where she studies business and continues her dance journey as a member of the SWCC dance team. We are incredibly proud of Kya and the positive influence she has on our studio community.
